Tucolingo was founded by James Drummond, a web developer from London. James once told a Mexican policeman that he — the Mexican policeman — was his Mexican girlfriend, as well as inadvertently telling a shop owner to **** off when he asked for some eggs.

James lives in Mexico and found — like many people — that his Spanish vocabulary was ok and that he could understand most conversations, but that he struggled when trying to speak. What he needed was an easy, cheap way to practice speaking Spanish, as well as to remember and re-use useful phrases.

And so Tucolingo was born. Learning a new language opens so many new doors in life: professionally and personally, we really hope that Tucolingo can help you on your language learning journey.
